The Pioneer Group appoints a new Finance Director and Housing & Community Services Director
The Pioneer Group, Birmingham-based community investment organisation, has announced two new appointments who are set to play a major role in the company’s on-going expansion and future strategic plans.
Finance Director, Martyn Hencher, and Housing & Community Services Director, Kate Foley, both started their roles with the housing & support services group on Monday 3rd September.
Having previously worked a number of years as Head of Finance for another housing group, Mr Hencher has a strong background in finance for charitable organisations that focus on providing affordable homes.
Expanding on his new position, Mr Hencher says:
I’m thrilled to be joining such a great team. I have always been lucky enough to work in non-profit organisations with a strong social purpose, and I’m excited to work with our Partners & Funders to offer more for our local residents.
Ms Foley also joins The Pioneer Group with a wealth of expertise from her previous roles in Neighbourhood & Housing Management at Birmingham City Council.
Ms Foley commented on her new position, saying:
I have only just started my role and I’m already excited about the journey ahead. The Pioneer Group is a family of passionate, sensible and committed people and I’m proud to be a part of future developments.
